The Wbt.it team has been involved in the most important web-based training projects yet realised in Italy, developing telematic platforms for remote training, multimedia content and on-line services for large companies, central and local public administration authorities, company associations, schools.

The Wbt.it mission is to support companies’ ability to compete on the global market by promoting the development of human resources through strategic web based solutions.

The first experimental network training platform was realised in 1986. The experience gained enabled the team currently at Wbt.it to spend ten years preparing the necessary groundwork for providing e-learning to large companies: the first project was for Trainet and the Telecom Italia group and involved designing, developing and implementing the Telecom Italia Virtual Campus for its 40,000 plus employees; this was followed by projects for Didael, the Engineering, Banking and Insurance group, and Formez, which also involved laying the foundations for improving e-learning skills and developing network training services for the Public Sector. The company also participated in the start-up of Euform.it, the joint-venture established by Formez and Enel.it with the aim of providing network training services for the Public Sector. As can be seen, our clients include operators in the large scale distribution sector, public and private companies, and industrial associations.

Wbt.it is currently a part of the Omniacom Consortium that manages the graduate and master services for Ferrara University and a number of other Italian universities.
